Ali Breeze & Chris engaged.

Ali and Chris are delightful fun.  I enjoyed walking the streets of Bardon and watching their little dog Poppy do the most amazing hand-stands-to-pee tricks! (you will see what I mean!) AMAZING!

I love engagement sessions! Sometimes after spending time photographing a couple I don’t want to go home… I just want to sit and chat about books and have tea out of cool retro cups. ;)

Ali runs a gorgeous vintage shop at the Woolloongabba Antique Centre. So naturally their home is filled with fun things! These two are wonderful together. Peas in a pod.

Here are the adorable Emily and Adam. (Adam you’re not that adorable but Emily has enough for 2 and you’re very handsome!)

Hope you enjoy this cute couple as much as we did.

The beautiful flowers are by this clever company ‘Green and Bloom’.

Really useful gifts!

I am seeing everywhere I go the beginning of Christmas mayhem! Yes indeedy, only 10 weeks apparently and Christmas will be here! EEEK!

While I was in India I had the pleasure of working with a fantastic organization TEAR Australia who with their amazing partners are doing all they can to help transform the lives of the poor and marginalized in India. It was my honor to hear and see the stories of communities being empowered with the knowledge, confidence and tools to work towards their own development.
I took so many photos of sooo many great projects. This one ties in nicely for Christmas! Actually a lot of them do and I will feature a few more shortly.
So what about buying all your family and friends chicken’s for families in India? It enables them to have healthy food for their families and if they get a few chickens they even can make a little income selling the eggs.
Here is one beautiful family, who were given chickens through one of TEARs fantastic India partner projects. They even helped them build a coop to house their growing chickens in! How about going and buying a really useful gift?? Here!!

I also just finished up making a promo video for TEARs USEFUL GIFTS campaign. A fantastic way to share with your friends and family a great ‘gift’ idea.
Take a look and if you like it please do share it around. Also… if you don’t like chickens maybe you would prefer buying an organic kitchen garden starter kit?? Or a goat?

I have to say special thanks to Aaron for making music for me and Natala for being a prop and assistant star and for the lovely Pancho for editing up a storm!

Instagram I LOVE you!

Sometimes I am a tad slow on the uptake with the latest social fads. Actually always!! (twitter is only just getting the occasional tweet from me!)

About a month ago I discovered the joys of instagram and I can’t recommend it enough! Not just for photographers but everyone can take a photo on the phone and do a quick slick little process and within a couple of seconds sharing it with all their friends!

I spent a whole year taking Polaroid photos of things I was grateful for

After this a whole year taking iphone photos and sharing them with my lovely friend Autumn here.

Now everyday I am taking photos (as many as I like) of all the little things that make me smile or delight me. These little things aren’t little. All together they make up something BIG.

Seems to be I like the colour RED. A LOT! So if you want to find out more about instagram head over here.

ok… back to work now! ;)

Amy & Elvio

This is one of the sweetest and simplest weddings we have ever had the pleasure to photograph.

A few close friends and family.

A beautiful sunny day.

The most amazing million dollar sunset.

A big tree and two people so in love, my heart was singing watching them together!

We usually send out a few questions to wedding photography enquiries to find out a little about couples and how they met. It is so gorgeous reading these emails or chatting about the way they came to fall in love. One of my favourite things about doing wedding photos!

When Amy sent me her email and I was so excited to meet up with them. Such a beautiful love story!

Amy and Elvio got to know each other while learning to play the guitar together! So we had to do some photos with the ukulele and guitar!!! (I may have gone overboard!!)

You can see a few other shots in the sunshine over here.

Here is the video/promo and intro into our latest project.

We are a little excited about this and have been a tiny bit distracted working on things to do with this ENORMOUS project.

Hope you enjoy!!

Want to help fund this project? Or become an associate producer?? Check out this fun site we have listed our project with. It is called indiegogo!

Now back to our regular programming!

Here is a photo of our extremely cute Earnest. He has grown up too quick! This is a puppy photo of him we have just sold to a pet food company in the U.S. He is going to be famous!

More from this adorable couple soon!! You can see Trisha and Filippo’s engagement session here.

I really rather love VW Kombi’s! (who doesn’t!!) I especially love them when the delightful owner, Adrian from Classic Kombi’s brings lolly snakes and feeds us all!!

What are we up to?

So many different things going on here I am finding it tricky to keep up! We have been spending lots of time working on our new website. I do believe we are not too far off now! Some of the changes are already up but heaps more to come! I can’t wait till it is live!

We are reading this fantastic book which just happens to have a chapter written by ME!!! (however I am not reading that chapter!!)

You can find out more about it here LOMOKEV.

Just finished editing an engagement session for this adorable couple.  We photographed this session in the beautiful Bangalow. It was a total delight working with these two!

Have you seen this wedding blog site? VERY COOL! I am completely honored to be featured on it sometimes!
Love Olio, the most creative wedding photographers in the world.

Another thing that is keeping us super busy is Earnest. Having a dog is a little harder then I thought it would be!!! (yes mum, you were right!!)

Earnest is not a little guy anymore and we have had a bit of strict strike!! (STRICT STRIKE – a word my dear friend Aaron used while growing up together… My family was VERY strict and his not as much but after hanging out with my family his parents always went on a ‘strict strike’ for 2 weeks after. I am hoping we can last longer then 2 weeks!)

Even though Earnest is rather a handful…  we are getting there and enjoy his funny ears. When we are at the beach they catch the wind and stand straight up!!

You can see a funny shot of what they normally look like HERE.

Christmas gifts??

We are running a little behind here but if anyone hasn’t got a great christmas present yet. I HAVE found a 4 wonderful ones!!

I was recently approached by a company called Mind Gardener™. It was so exciting having them purchase my images for use on such a great product.
Here is a little bit about their products….

Mind Gardener™ is an Australian initiative that brings together a series of resources that contain information, ideas, exercises and tips that will guide your growth and help you flourish in a particular area of life.
Mind Gardener authors spend their time translating the growing body of knowledge on the mind and research on the brain, so that you can navigate quickly to the information and actions that will make a difference in your life.

It is so nice to see my images all printed up and designed into great products. Very satisfying!

I have included an image of my favorite “tip” because we all know being Grateful has taught me HEAPS!! However I just read over one of the ‘Clear mind’ boxes and was so inspired!! (and I do believe my mind cleared!!)

Check out their website here:
