Emily & Adam

About time we posted a wedding!

Here are the adorable Emily and Adam. (Adam you’re not that adorable but Emily has enough for 2 and you’re very handsome!)

Hope you enjoy this cute couple as much as we did.

The beautiful flowers are by this clever company ‘Green and Bloom’.

Joel and Elizabeth. Fun Byron Bay wedding

I can’t tell you how much we loved this beautiful Byron Bay wedding. Despite having a really bad case of the flu we were so inspired by this fun couple and their funky wedding decorating. More photos when I catch up!!!

Amy & Elvio

This is one of the sweetest and simplest weddings we have ever had the pleasure to photograph.

A few close friends and family.

A beautiful sunny day.

The most amazing million dollar sunset.

A big tree and two people so in love, my heart was singing watching them together!

We usually send out a few questions to wedding photography enquiries to find out a little about couples and how they met. It is so gorgeous reading these emails or chatting about the way they came to fall in love. One of my favourite things about doing wedding photos!

When Amy sent me her email and I was so excited to meet up with them. Such a beautiful love story!

Amy and Elvio got to know each other while learning to play the guitar together! So we had to do some photos with the ukulele and guitar!!! (I may have gone overboard!!)

You can see a few other shots in the sunshine over here.

YCBS wedding photography is back in Melbourne

Well it’s been awhile, but we can’t resist a good wedding – and this was a great one!

We gave you a sneak peak at Trisha and Filippo’s wedding a little while ago – remember, they were the couple in front of a Kombi trying to get the better of a chewy snake… well here is a more in-depth look at their fabulous day. (You can see their engagement pics here)

Fun, family, laughter, love, dancing, style and colour is the inevitable result of a Filipino and Italian family coming together! And Trisha and Filippo are such a fun couple – you can see from the pictures, their happiness was infectious. The day could only have been made more perfect if say, a donkey was to put his head into one of the shots… I guess that’s what you get when you say “let’s just go for a walk and see what we find!”

I love Melbourne weddings!

More from this adorable couple soon!! You can see Trisha and Filippo’s engagement session here.

I really rather love VW Kombi’s! (who doesn’t!!) I especially love them when the delightful owner, Adrian from Classic Kombi’s brings lolly snakes and feeds us all!!

“…but Papa Bear’s chair was tooo big”

Newlyweds Glen & Elysia found the perfect place to sit down and have a break from the rigours of a busy wedding day at beautiful Coorabella, Byron Bay, a couple of weeks ago.

It was a very big day – full of colour, life and music – easy to feel a little overwhelmed – but these two took it all in their stride and carried off their day with style and lots of laughter.

As for You Can’t Be Serious, we sometimes feel a little swamped ourselves with all we have on our plates – especially in the blogging department – but we take one day at a time, remember to breathe and laugh and enjoy every day we’re given! More pics to come!

Kass & Ben wedding at Coorabella, Byron Bay

Here is a delightfully fun wedding, the last wedding we photographed for 2010!

Kass and Ben are extremely creative and with the team from Coorabella and Byron Bay wedding and events there was sooo much to photograph!

The Indian/Gypsy/Bohemian theme was inspiring and suited me to a tee!! (I love colour!! ;) ) The Byron Bay region might just be my favourite place to photograph weddings!!

Hope you enjoy these photos as much as we enjoyed taking them!

Marika & Eden – Coolangatta wedding

Oh dear it seems I have another bumper blog post! I am getting carried away… let me know if this takes too long to load because I have included too many pics?? I couldn’t resist!

This is a super fun 60s style wedding. I had a total ball dodging rain and catching all the fantastic moments this delightful couple put on!

Marika and Eden are amazing and talented creatives…  Marika is one of the creators of the wonderful children’s label Polkakids. If you don’t know this label you MUST go look!! LOVE it!

This wedding day was amazing and even though the rain and storms tried their very best to put a damper on the party, these guys and their beautiful family and friends were not put off at all.

Held at a fantastic old pink hotel in Coolangatta, Marika and Eden went all out to create a great event full of vintage style and fun. From the cool ‘fine time’ drinks to the button badges… (which by the way is the coolest thing I have ever been given at a wedding!! I wear ours all the time!!) However my favorite part of the day was during the ceremony as Eden started to say his vows, their darling daughter who is 4yrs old yells out.. “and make her happy!” It was the sweetest moment!!

I have a pretty amazing job! I get to meet gorgeous people and work with them on one of the most special days of their life.

‘Fiesta Forever’ was the theme for the day and I think Marika and Eden are no doubt going to have a FIESTA FOREVER!!
