I am sorry to say blogging has been very neglected lately. We are busy and keeping up is harder then I thought it would be! I am off to the U.S next week so maybe a little slow over this time too.

Also in other news the website is down because a new one is Nearly ready! Some delays because a crazy person decided to re-brand our business…. New look and logo coming soon.

I have a number of ideas that I have been busting to do, waiting for just the right people…

When I met Julia, I had a feeling I would be able to convince her and her lovely fiance, Pedzi to let me do THIS idea!

Thanks guys!! You are both sooo brave and wonderful!! I think your life together is going to be great fun and I am sure with smiles like yours you will bring lots of laughter and delight wherever you go.

We both totally enjoyed hanging out with you two and can’t wait for the BIG day!!

I was so excited to fly to Sydney and do a portrait session with this gorgeous couple, Megan and Jason.

The amazing thing about these two is they are making a doco film about their relationship and working away from each other for a whole year! Jason is staying in Sydney and Megan has already left on a year long trip to Ethiopia to do volunteer work. It’s a great story and I am really looking forward to following them here:

Mankind is No Island

I had the best fun shooting Fushia’s new band stills!!! I love these guys – they let me try anything!! You can check them out here: wearefushia. You can also see here the music video we made for these guys late last year.

The weather has been rather unpredictable lately and this shoot was nearly cancelled due to rain. However we decided to push through with the grey overcast afternoon and shoot anyway. We had an hour of fun and then out from behind some clouds the sun suddenly appeared just for 10 minutes as it was setting and I got my sunflare shots with warm grass. Ahhh I was sooo pleased and thank the Gods for smiling on me!

Enjoy these guys. They are way WAY fun.

I love LOVE to photograph kids parties. All that colour and fun and kids being kids!

Max’s 3rd birthday was a circus party.  So plenty of wonderful costumes and very very cute little clown.

They even had a couple wonderful clowns come from  Peebo and Dagwood. They were very entertaining and fun and even the adults were captivated.

Also there was a jumping castle that despite the heat, kids in costumes bounced around to their hearts content. (I only lasted a little bit on there!!)

I do believe fun was had by all!

Lisa booked me a few months ago to photograph her boyfriend and family. It was a very special birthday present.

By the time I finished photographing this lovley family, I was wanting to be adopted! They were full of fun, laughter and happy to try everything! I really hope when my kids are all grown up they get along as well as these sisters…

How cute is that little button with her swim suit and cap! (will tell you where you can buy some of these soon… Best new brand of swimwear!)

This family are great sports, going along with my hair-brained schemes of burying them in the dirt. They’re brave too, this was on a dog beach!

I recently had the pleasure of working with a beautiful little family from Tasmania.

Claudine booked me many months ago for some fun family gatherings while they were here in Brisbane. It was delightful to get to know these guys over a few shoots.

Claudine and Jacob’s little girls are soo sweet and a delight to photograph. They LOVED the camera! LOVED might even be an understatement for Charlotte…

At one point Charlotte told her dad off for for trying to play boo with her…. she said “Dad! Hailey is trying to take my photo!” Hilarious!

We started our portrait sitting in the hotel. Playing on the big bed, peek-a-boo in the curtains and yoga too! We then headed off for a walk up the hill to a great little inner city park. At the end of this shoot both Ruby and Charlotte hugged me and I was completely smitten!!

I photographed this lovely little family last week. It was a stinky hot day but we managed to find a lovely shady spot in Dutton Park.

Little Ruby is 9mths old and the perfect baby model. I can’t get enough of her yummi blue eyes and floaty blonde hair.

Just a delight to photograph this gorgeous family and the love between them.

I have had the pleasure of photographing the Downie family for a few years now. Esther is addicted to photos as much as me!

Such a delight to watch the family grow, change and now make room for another little somebody. Really looking forward to meeting this one and I am booked to cover the birth, I can’t wait!
