My little big girl has just turned 10.

Somehow the last 10yrs just flew by and here I am looking at a young girl who keeps reminding me of the baby girl she was a moment ago and then giving me glimpses of the woman she will be in just a moment.

I keep thinking what a delight that I get to be with this wise and amazing soul.

I am blessed. I am grateful!

How amazing is the beach! Quickly go and enjoy this fine weather and enjoy it as much as possible… sit and think and do handstands in the sand…

When I am on the beach I feel my soul expanding and all the worries get very small.

Here are a few shots from the last few days of beachy fun we had.

I love LOVE to photograph kids parties. All that colour and fun and kids being kids!

Max’s 3rd birthday was a circus party.  So plenty of wonderful costumes and very very cute little clown.

They even had a couple wonderful clowns come from  Peebo and Dagwood. They were very entertaining and fun and even the adults were captivated.

Also there was a jumping castle that despite the heat, kids in costumes bounced around to their hearts content. (I only lasted a little bit on there!!)

I do believe fun was had by all!

I took these a few weeks ago… this little muffin is getting a brother or sister soon! (yippeee! more cute babies to photograph!)

Just did these fun Chrissie cards for my friend and Aunt - Angie.

How cute is that little button with her swim suit and cap! (will tell you where you can buy some of these soon… Best new brand of swimwear!)

This family are great sports, going along with my hair-brained schemes of burying them in the dirt. They’re brave too, this was on a dog beach!

I recently had the pleasure of working with a beautiful little family from Tasmania.

Claudine booked me many months ago for some fun family gatherings while they were here in Brisbane. It was delightful to get to know these guys over a few shoots.

Claudine and Jacob’s little girls are soo sweet and a delight to photograph. They LOVED the camera! LOVED might even be an understatement for Charlotte…

At one point Charlotte told her dad off for for trying to play boo with her…. she said “Dad! Hailey is trying to take my photo!” Hilarious!

We started our portrait sitting in the hotel. Playing on the big bed, peek-a-boo in the curtains and yoga too! We then headed off for a walk up the hill to a great little inner city park. At the end of this shoot both Ruby and Charlotte hugged me and I was completely smitten!!

I know everyone is eagerly anticipating the release of our famous Christmas greeting card and I am proud to be the one to finally reveal it!

Not that you could miss us…

We’ve had a lot of fun around Brisbane in the last few weeks riding bikes, playing in the sand, eating popcorn in a cinema - holding these oversized reproductions of ourselves… ahh the things we do for a laugh art. At least several German backpackers got a memorable photo to send back to their relatives.

I hope you all have a lot of fun this upcoming Christmas season. Do something you haven’t done before!

Like riding a tandem bike with a tag-along (that’s an extra seat off the back), using only one hand, keeping all three of you balanced while all holding ridiculously large replicas of your heads in the other hand pointed in exactly the right direction for a photographer! In a public park…

Now I’m going to cry myself to sleep on my HUGE pillow…

We just had a few days working in Melbourne, it was wonderful visiting our favorite city. Though the weather was chilly and gave us all colds.

However we managed to squeeze fun at the markets… and a little bit of work. A wedding and a family portrait. Wedding coming soon.

For now the sweetest little poppet, Liam. We went to the Fitzroy gardens and it was sooo lush and green. So nice to go back to the places we used to hang out in when Andrew and I were just dating. Ahhhh… memories…. (ahah! I will stop now!)

We are in busy season now, however I love to procrastinate and so have a whole bunch of play photos to share!!

Here is Poppy.

I awoke the other day to find her all dressed like a mini suit.. Jacket, black hat, grey pants… white top and shoes. I asked her where she was off to and she replied that she was being a bit boyish today. (she is too cute!)

Here is my nephew being a little punk when I was babysitting him the other day. Whenever he comes to visit I can’t resist playing with his hair and taking photos…

Now a shot of some ducks I was chasing at a park. They were the sweetest little family. Poppy and I followed them around for ages trying to get photos… they really didn’t mind too much. 12 little ducklings - so sweet!

My darling little big girl who was singing when I took these shots. She makes me smile….

ooh and here is one of my sister’s dog… Bella.
