Have you discovered Little Jane Street?

I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Alarna at home and in her shop – Little Jane St.
Alarna is extremely creative and has so many wonderful things in her store you must visit!!
I am extremely excited to be working on another little project with Alarna – but more about that soon!

Here she is in her natural environment showing her delightful sense of style…

And this is her shop!

Our complete website is finally here!

Friends, you feared it might never happen. You assumed we were just hot air. That our repeated assurances of ‘our new site is under construction‘ were the online equivalent of ‘the cheque’s in the mail‘. But I, Andrew, am here to tell you to put your slippers on and gather your kids because I have some news…

You Can’t Be Serious is proud to announce the official launch of their new website www.youcantbeserious.com.au! *cue streamers and thunderous applause*

Featuring a sparkling new landing page that effortlessly directs you to the various sub-sites, we think that you will now be able to get a feel for the broad range of work we are able to do. There’s short films, web promos, music videos, commercial photography, graphic design, fun personal projects, kid’s animations, and links to new projects that we’re working on as well.

Special thanks must go to our tireless online consultant programmer developer genius technician… guy…  Keiran for putting up with my repeated changes of direction and design. We were unable to present him with a challenge he couldn’t overcome… although we gave it our best shot!

Hailey has edited together a very entertaining showreel which is supported by a very sprightly backing track kindly provided by the fantastic local lads Hungry Kids of Hungary. Definitely check them out if you feel your feet tapping.

And lastly, we’d love to connect with you via Facebook or Twitter so please click on the link on the main page to make sure you never miss out on what we’re up to.

Hope you enjoy looking around and feel free to get in touch if you have any queries about our work!

Like an orange on a toothpick…

I know everyone is eagerly anticipating the release of our famous Christmas greeting card and I am proud to be the one to finally reveal it!

Not that you could miss us…

We’ve had a lot of fun around Brisbane in the last few weeks riding bikes, playing in the sand, eating popcorn in a cinema – holding these oversized reproductions of ourselves… ahh the things we do for a laugh art. At least several German backpackers got a memorable photo to send back to their relatives.

I hope you all have a lot of fun this upcoming Christmas season. Do something you haven’t done before!

Like riding a tandem bike with a tag-along (that’s an extra seat off the back), using only one hand, keeping all three of you balanced while all holding ridiculously large replicas of your heads in the other hand pointed in exactly the right direction for a photographer! In a public park…

Now I’m going to cry myself to sleep on my HUGE pillow…

‘LOVE’ -new short doco film! -

We are in pre-production for a lovely little film on love. Here is our info poster. (I am rather excited about this project!)

Would love to hear what YOU think of LOVE. (we are after stories of LOVE between partners not so much love for your kids or others:)

•    Is your love un-conditional?

•    Can you think of a time when you were amazed by your love?

•   Can you think of an example or time recently when you felt really loved by your partner? What was it?

•   In your relationship what has been events or things you have done that has strengthened or made your relationship grow?

Please let us know your thoughts, no pressure for interviews. However we would love to hear from you if your interested too!

Maybe you know someone who has been in love a long time or a relationship you know, that you admire?? Feel free to send the info out to friends and family who might be interested. (we can only interview people in Australia – unless someone wants to fly me O.S!!!).

However we would love to hear your thoughts even if you don’t want to be interviewed!

Everyone’s Invited!

Our good friends Aaron and Christie decided to tie the knot at the beginning of the year so they needed an engagement invitation…

and of course next on the list was the wedding invitation. It was an Indian theme. You’ve seen the photos. I love Indian themes… and food…

Here’s the front

…and the back

Hailey’s sister Georgia and her boyfriend Errol needed an invitation to their December 07 wedding…

and her brother Nick and his girlfriend Hannah started the ball rolling a year before that. They were friends as children so we decided to use a genuine image of them from years ago to make it even more special.

All photos by Hailey except this one above.
