365 Grateful. continues….

I was surprised last night to get an email from someone asking where I was and why was I not around when Notebook was featuring my work this week!!

Well after returning from the U.S I had a job down in NSW so was not really home. Notebook did not tell me there was going to be a little letter about the 365 grateful project!! (else I would have made sure the new site was working!! – eek!)

I haven’t seen the magazine in real life but here is the website letter from the editor. I am amazed!

I’m grateful for my beautiful boys who sometimes drive me mad, but never fail to make me laugh everyday. I feel so blessed to have them. I am also grateful for being grateful! It’s amazing how when we take time to notice and appreciate the small things in life, our lifes are changed, our attitudes are changed and we can truly be happy.

Grateful: for being able to see the great stuff happening all around me. There have been many times where I have been cranky, rude, selfish and unpleasant – definitely a place I don’t like beng. Being grateful is so much more fun! I’m grateful today for my cute daughter who slept beside me in bed last night and woke up happy. Grateful for her brothers kindness and willingness to help her without being asked. Grateful for my family and especially grateful that there are inspiring and amazing people out in the big world – lighting a path for the rest of us to see.

I am grateful everyday that when my little boy came out of the Childrens Hospital a little dinted but alive! The fact that he is now 10 is a wonderful reminder just how how lucky we are. I often think of the other families who spent that night in ICU and I hope they were as lucky. Love the project!!
