Here is a birth video I did recently. The natural waterbirth of my newest Nephew… Theo.
Georgia is my little sister, she is also the most AMAZING mum I know. She is married to Errol, a lovely partner and beautiful support during this birth. She has two cute cute babies and delights and writes about them here on her blog.

I don’t think there is anything more amazing or more of a privilege to witness than the birth of a child.. To be able to film and photograph births makes me so happy! Just beautiful!!!! I am in LOVE with the image of mama with the wash cloth over her head and the look of bliss on her face. I had a waterbirth with my third child…this brought back so many lovely memories

I am moved to tears watching this beautiful film. What you witnessed was the miracle of birth but what you captured was something beyond special. The way you pieced it together was so elegant and touching. Gosh, having my second child 6 months ago today makes me wish I had something like this to have for the rest of my life. Hailey, as you know, I love this movie more than anything I’ve ever seen. It is my favourite 7 mins of video I’ve ever seen and I will treasure it forever. I am so happy that we can share it and show people how beautiful birth can be. It’s also great that it’s all over the internet because now I know if our house ever burns down, at least I’ll have this film saved for me

Hailey you are such an inspiration! I smiled, frowned, laughed and cried watching this. I knew it would be wonderful to watch. For a second there, I was afraid to look at the photos. But you did very great shots of all of them. The baby is to tiny and cuddly and…so cute! They truly are a miraculous wonder of nature. =D
Thank you again Hailey! It was such a beautiful birth and you were able to capture it so… beautifully! As much as we love this now, we will only grow to appreciate it more and more as the years go by. Ali Bloom – yes I filmed and photographed. I used my trusty canon 5dm11. With a birth there is usually a bit of time for everything… few photos and video footage too.

I have never seen a better birth video. It was so beautiful. I never wanted my three natural births recorded, but in this fashion, I totally would have. It was excellent. LOVE it.

Hailey that was the most perfect video. This little boy will always be reminded of his mummys love when he watches this film (even though I’m sure he will “ewww”), he will know he was adored before he even entered this world.
