inspiration…
I find my kids are my little muses and really always have been. So today I ‘m blogging a tiny bit about them.
Firstly Poppy – a little character who delights and huggles us so much! I loved seeing her below playing in the curtains and enjoying the late afternoon light.
Next my little big girl who shortly will be ten! Zali.
She is astounding me with her creativity and abilities. Here is a painting she did for me a couple of months ago. I paid her to paint me a picture for my bedroom. I asked for something Klimpt in style and she delivered an amazing painting. When my mother saw this she promptly paid Zali to paint her one too!! 
She wants to be an artist when she grows up… I tell her she is well on her way!

wow, that first series is magical… and I have a son who wants to be an artist too, isn’t it wonderful seeing such artistic freedom in our kids. That painting is amazing!

Gorgeous photos and wonderful artwork! We have a 10 year old as well and she used to tell everyone she would be an artist someday… but we and others have commissioned pieces from her so we told her- she IS an artist. Now she proudly tells everyone she meets “I am an artist!” There is real power in that

Congrats to you too Hailey, whenever I’m feeling a bit ho-hum with the everyday and the general shallowness of our lives at times, I come to your blog for a shot of family treasuring and a creativity check. Looking at your work is like being hit over the head with a kaleidoscope as opposed to looking at life through a cardboard tube. Ooh, deep!
oh my, hailey. zali’s painting is so amazing! each circle thoughtfully placed and the colours – wow! It DOES remind me of a klimt. She is an artist!!! I would commission her aswell
