Now for something COMPLETELY DIFFERENT!!

I recently just shot a short film for an organization (ACRATH) that work to stop human trafficking. It was an amazing project to be apart of. This film is going to be launched tomorrow along with their new website.

If your interested in finding out more take a look:

http://www.acrath.org

You can watch the film below but though there is nothing super scary in it I would not suggest it for kids.

Also the music is by my FANTASTIC and TALENTED FRIEND - Aaron! Check out more of his music here:

http://www.vividmusicstudios.com/

I really hope that you enjoy the film… or actually maybe not “enjoy” but feel inspired to help STOP this horrible disregard for fellow people.

I feel so grateful for the life I lead and hope that I can do something to help others who are less fortunate!

There are 27 million people enslaved today - join up and stop the trade in human lives!

  1. G wrote: This film is so powerful. It says so much so simply and really makes me feel quite sick inside (which is a good thing). I really am happy that you are helping to spread awareness about this and hopefully help stop trading lives. You are exceptionally talented. (11/17/08, 10:30 pm)

  2. bene wrote: hailey, it is so powerful. It really does make me want to do something - and not to mention it is so amazingly well done. (but what else would we expect from you!) (11/18/08, 1:54 am)

  3. Raymond Teodo wrote: This is a very powerful film. That 1 and a half minutes of footage says a lot more than what a 20 minute or a 90 minute presentation would take. I hope many will view it and make themselves aware of the trading business and how important it is for us to combat it. (11/18/08, 8:30 am)

  4. Colette wrote: Wow. This is really amazing. And so well done. It's so real and touching. Just...wow. Thank you for making such an amazing piece of media. :) (11/18/08, 1:21 pm)

  5. Hailey wrote: thanks guys for your comments on the film... really glad to hear it is moving! cheers hailey (11/18/08, 1:36 pm)

  6. Fiona Carson wrote: Wow, what a powerful film. You are amazingly talented, and I love that you are using your talent to help people like this. (11/18/08, 9:27 pm)

Last week I had the pleasure of photographing this wonderful little family. Belinda and Michael and their little boy were wonderful to photograph.
I was extremely happy when they arrived at out location with a car load of props!!
The flower chair was my most favorite and I had to stop myself from using it in EVERY photo!
Thanks guys for bringing wonderful props and being such great sports!

I am about to blow my own trumpet here so tune out if not keen on that sort of thing!

I am sooo excited because I have an article in my most favourite magazine… FRANKIE. This magazine has been wonderful to find. Not only is it full of hilarious stories and great photos but it treats women as though they are intelligent! ABOUT TIME! I am very honored to be in it.

The story is on my GRATEFUL 365 days a year series I have been photographing for a few months now.

You can see the series so far… here:
